‘Time lapse’ is a series of mixed-media paintings representing a personal emotional journey. I visually recorded this process capturing movement and colour at different times of day, which I then translated through using a variety of media, mark-making and creative techniques. An important part of the creative process was taking inspiration from video footage and reacting to them intuitively, by doing this I challenged the idea of what a landscape can look like, staying true to my abstract style.
